It's hard to see but Ethan got his first tooth today at just over 5 months old. I couldn’t get a very good shot with one hand holdng the camera but it's there. It

Welcome to Ethan and Emma's Blog.
This is the place to keep up with Ethan and Emma's antics.
We have been overwhelmed with all the kind words, gestures and support over the long journey to get here. We could not have done it without you.
Love,
John and Nancy

Ethan laughing while I blow on his belly
video is not the greatest since I was holding it and blowing on his
belly at the same time, but the audio is great (of course I am biased).

Stopped for Icecream at DQ on walk
leather tote from the shoe repair shop and stopped at DQ. Emma really
likes it like her mommy and sticks her tongue out at cone. Ethan not
so sure he likes it. Hope he's not like dad and likes fried foods best.

Thanks Uncle Brian
when Logan got to big. Thanks for thinking of us. Both Ethan and Emma
love it.
We tried them in it two weeks ago and they were too little and just
flopped around. Imagine our suprise when we tried less than two weeks
later and they LOVE it and can support theirselves.
Emma even is turning around in it to try out all the toys. Thanks
again Uncle Brian.

We got a mountain bike ride in today - hooray!
Got up to kettle with the kids today for a mountain bike ride. The weather was perfect Emma and Ethan really seemed to like being in the shade under the trees while one of us at a time took a ride. We are looking for a sitter to go on trips with us, so we can both ride so if you are interested let us know,
Here's Nanc and the kids as I am preparing to leave for my first ten mile loop at Kettle. Nanc will go out later herself. Miss riding the trails with her, as it is much more fun together, but compromises must be made and the twins are certainly worth it.
Here’s a cool area they just made with recent re-routes. You have easy, moderate or more technical line choices as you move from left to right. I did the technical line over the stone and logs this time for the first time. Pretty easy if you keep your speed up.

Visit to Grandma and Grandpa G's
Ethan and Emma visited their grandma and grandpa G's at their house this Wednesday. Here’s grandma holding both of them at once like a pro. It was nice to see you. The visit was too shorts. Wish we could say that about the ride home though. Emma was crying most of the way from Dekalb to Naperville, despite 5 emergency stops along the roadside to feed and pacify her. Good news is she was not sick and was her cheerful self the next day.
The twins are getting so that they want to be entertained if they are awake so car time can be interesting.
