Emma and Ethan eating their first suckers
Grandma G brought them some string pop suckers. Emma devoured hers and Ethan was not so sure about his. Sounds like they will be like their mom and dad. Nanc loves sugar and I love fried foods better.

It was so cute today. I was reading Emma their Baby Faces book and when we got to the page where it shows babies kissing Emma pulled the book up and kissed it several times. I flipped forward several pages and came back to the kissing page and she did it again, ti was too cute.

A hard days work
Lately Ethan has been playing so hard that he sometimes just falls asleep in the highchair. Guess all that learning to walk is wearing him out. He took 5 steps at a time multiple times today and started to just take off walking from the ends of things he creeps along like the coffee table and couch. Surprised he is surpassing Emma as she was the first to balance standing for extended periods and took a step before Ethan.

Ethan (and Emma) love to tear up the alphabet puzzle. They would do it twenty times a day if we re-did it every time. We only put it back together two to three times a day. Can you tell he was having fun?

Ethan loves Grandpa
Ethan made Grandpa's day. Emma was sleeping on Grandma and Ethan seemed wide awake. Carl started to doze off and felt a tug on his leg. He looked down to Ethan pulling on his leg and reaching up with both hands. Carl picked him up and he snuggled right down, sighed and took a great nap.
Emma really liked Grandma's homemade applesauce
Emma ate almost the entire container of Grandma's homemade applesauce. That or she was having a bad makeup day :-)
